Fall is here...which means it's time for the Coop Coffees annual general meeting.  This year, we had the honor of having Policarpio of FECAFEB and Miguel of La Asociacion Chajulense join us for the meetings (and sunset kayaking...) in Austin, TX.  The AGM was a perfect opportunity to discuss the business of the coop, exchange roasters' best practices, and get updated on the many projects and trips happening within our coop.  Sept was filled with trips and exciting news!

So dive in and enjoy your read!!

For us in the North.. days are getting longer, the sun is getting warmer, and the grass is getting greener as Winter takes a break - making way for Spring to open its door on cabin fever. But for folks in Specialty Coffee, Spring means more than just warm weather. It evokes memories of and expectation for the largest coffee exposition of the year: the grand SCAA! This year is particularly special as CC launches into its 10th year of producer partner relationships. This month's news also reminds us of the hard work and challenges that are behind every cup of coffee.

Enjoy your read (and the Spring!)!

Despite the cold, gray weather common at this time of year (at least for many of us "up North"), the flurry of activity in January -- and the election of a promising, new US President -- has kept our spirits and our expectations high! It has also kept our agendas busy.  Fun and fruitful trips, bright new relationships, and thoughtful consideration of what is to come -- this month's newsletter is worth checking out!

So settle in, grab a steamy cup of Fair Trade coffee and - as always: Enjoy your read!
