Depulping Machines in Papua New Guinea

After visiting Papua New Guinea in late 2005, Dean decided to donate depulping machines to the cooperative we purchase our coffee from. They had been depulping coffee cherries by hand, which is unheard of in the industry and an incredibly laborious task. We have also been working successfully to organize farmer cooperatives, get them on the Fair Trade registry, and provide them with needed micro-credit.
