Plone

Plone is a ready-to-run content management system that is built on the powerful and free Zope application server. Plone is easy to set up, extremely flexible, and provides a system for managing web content that is ideal for project groups, communities, web sites, extranets and intranets.  This open source software is a fast-growing and exciting community that spans the globe. CC recently switched to Plone to power its new website and continues to build on to the website to add more tools and information for members and non-members alike.  For more info on Plone, visit their website at www.plone.org.

Firefox Mozilla

Mozilla is an untraditional software company in that they are a global community and public benefit organization dedicated to improving the Internet experience for people everywhere.  They  work in the open through a highly disciplined, transparent and cooperative process to coordinate the development and marketing of Mozilla technologies and products as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the nonprofit Mozilla Foundation.    All of their products are available free-of-charge for Windows, Mac and Linux computers in more than 35 languages. CC staff uses Firefox Mozilla as an internet browser and has found its features to provide all the services we need.  We also use Mozilla Thunderbird, another free application, for our email manager.  For more info on Firefox Mozilla, visit their website at www.mozilla.com.

Open Office

OpenOffice.org is a multiplatform and multilingual office suite and an open-source project. Compatible with all other major office suites, the product is free to download, use, and distribute.  CC is very pleased using Open Office writer, Open Office Calculator and other Open Office applications as needed.   For more info, visit the Open Office website at www.openoffice.org

ifPeople is a for-profit social enterprise based in Atlanta, GA. The woman-owned company was founded in 2002 and began operations in Argentina. ifPeople provides consulting and software development services targeted at socially responsible businesses and organizations .  ifPeople has been instrumental in working with Cooperative Coffees in its strategic development and planning and continues to provide some technical assistance and advice when necessary.  For more info, visit the ifPeople website.

CH Robinson Worldwide (CHRW)

As one of the world's largest third-party logistics companies, CHRW offers shippers a wide range of customized global transportation, logistics and supply chain management solutions. They provide truck, rail, ocean, and air carriers to bring your freight to market. KeepCalling.com

KeepCalling.com is a distributor of phone cards, located in Georgia. They offer prepaid phone cards for which telecom companies offer discount rates. KeepCalling.com keeps its costs down by not printing cards and offering them through their virtual delivery system (email and posting in the account history). KeepCalling.com is part of Miron Enterprises, LLC. Founded in 2001, BetterWorld Telecom is the only nationwide voice and data provider in the USA that focuses on serving business, enterprises and organizations that have social and sustainable missions. CC chooses to do business with BetterWorld Telecom because their service and because they donate 3% of top-line revenues to causes that benefit children, education and the environment. Affiliated Warehouse (Toronto, ON)

Affiliated is one of the largest International Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers in Canada that provides fully integrated services. Affiliated offers quality services in the areas of warehousing, distribution, reshipping, and container loading and unloading. Coffee Labs International (CLI)

Since 1995 Coffee Lab International has supported the coffee industry with R&D, education and laboratory services. CLI is an independent lab specializing in the tasting and testing of coffee in all applications. CLI's services include support for new product development, quality control specifications, and organoleptic testing. Their clients and partners include coffee affiliated roasters, retailers, manufacturers, brokers, exporters, coffee farmers and associations in the coffee related business.
